Here Ikat, there Ikkat, everywhere I kan Ikat.

Ikat/Ikkat is a textile resistance dying process, similar to tie die. The weaving style is common in an array of cultures, including countries in Central and South American, and countries along the Silk Road that stretches from Europe to China. The age-old technique is now the current trend; with everything from cloths and shoes, to chairs and house wares, boasting the ethic technique.
